How we handle your personal information, and who to contact about it.

Our full privacy notice is being published

We are finalising a complete privacy notice for this website. Until it is published, our Data Protection Policy below sets out how we handle personal data, and the contact details on this page are live. If you have a question about your information, or you want to make a request about your data, write to us and we will answer it.

Where to find our data protection policy

This is the document our staff work to. It covers the lawful bases we rely on, how long we keep records, and how we respond to requests about personal data.

What this website collects

If you send us an enquiry through the contact form, we receive the details you type into it, which are your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and your message. We use them to answer your enquiry and to talk to you about studying with us. We ask you to confirm you are happy to be contacted before the form will send.

Cookies and tracking on this site

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. We use three kinds, and only the first is set without asking you.

Strictly necessary

We store your cookie choice on your own device so the site can honour it on your next visit. Nothing about you is sent anywhere to do that, and it is the only thing we store before you have made a choice. It is not used to track you.

Analytics, only if you allow it

If you allow analytics, we load Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. These tell us which pages people find useful and how they arrived. They set cookies in the _ga family, which are kept for up to two years, and they send information about your visit to Google, which acts as our processor for this.

Advertising, only if you allow it

If you allow advertising cookies, we load the Meta pixel. This tells Facebook and Instagram that you visited this site, so we can measure whether our advertising works and show ads to people who have been here before. It sets the _fbp cookie, kept for up to three months, and it shares information about your visit with Meta. Meta uses that information for its own purposes as well as ours.

Your choice, and changing it

We ask before loading anything in the second or third group. If you refuse, those scripts are never loaded and the cookies are never set, and the site works exactly the same. Refusing is one click, in the same place and of the same size as accepting.

You can change your mind at any time, and we delete the cookies in the groups you switch off.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a refusal and do not ask again. You can still turn things on with the button above if you want to.

Blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings works too, and your browser's help pages explain how.

Asking about your information

You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have mistakes corrected, and in some cases to have it deleted. To do any of that, contact us:

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can raise it with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
