Digital Marketing School is dedicated to providing a high-quality student experience. However, we recognise that students may sometimes become dissatisfied. Where concerns are brought to our attention we commit to investigating the matters raised, clarifying regulatory or procedural issues and, where appropriate, taking the necessary steps to provide remedy and redress.
Digital Marketing School operates a robust internal quality assurance (IQA) system to ensure that all our training delivery and assessment meets the assessment standards set by the awarding bodies (AO) we work with. The IQA system aims to maintain consistency and accuracy of assessments and ensure that Digital Marketing School practices, resources, processes and procedures meet the requirements of the qualifications that we deliver. IQA is carried out on an ongoing basis and will be conducted in line with the sample plan guide provided in this policy.
1. PURPOSE:
Malpractice, maladministration and plagiarism is an act that can potentially lead to learners being disadvantaged. Incidents also threaten the quality, integrity and reputation of DMS (hereafter “the company”), its staff, learners and the qualifications offered.
The purpose of this policy is to outline the principles underlying the provision of discretionary learning and development for staff who wish to pursue their continuous professional development.
DMS recognises that you may have a broad range of prior knowledge, skills and experience (academic, professional or vocational) to bring to your DMS life. Such previous experience/qualifications may allow you to be exempted from certain elements of study in your DMS programme.
We recognise that the foundation of Digital Marketing School is its learners. In order for us to enable our learners to achieve and to facilitate growth within our organisation, strategies that enable us to recruit with integrity must be in place.
This policy is provided for Digital Marketing School customers, learners and staff members who are using or delivering courses and qualifications offered by Digital Marketing School. Digital Marketing School will review this policy annually in line with self-assessment arrangements.
Digital Marketing School's approach to Health and Safety is driven by legal requirements to deliver safe working and study environments, which contribute, facilitate and enable people to flourish and achieve their full potential.
Digital Marketing School is committed to providing equal opportunities for staff, students, applicants and all persons with whom it deals. It will not tolerate discriminatory behavior concerning ethnicity, race, religious belief, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender reassignment, marital status, pregnancy, maternity, age or disability, or mental health. These characteristics align with the protected characteristics defined in the Equalities Act 2010.
The Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA18) and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) (collectively "the Regulations") are designed to protect personal data and uphold the rights and freedoms of living individuals. The GDPR is a Europe-wide standard that affects organisations globally that process personal data of EU citizens.
This policy covers educational provision leading to an award or part of an award which is delivered and/or supported and/or assessed through means which generally do not require the student to attend particular classes or events at particular times and particular locations. This includes practices such as e-learning, distance learning, flexible learning, instructor-led training and the use of web-based materials to supplement classroom-based learning.
This Assessment Policy applies to all students at the Digital Marketing School.
The Seven Principles of Public Life (known often as the ‘Nolan Principles’) include the principle of integrity – stating that holders of public office must avoid placing themselves under any obligation to people or organisations that might try inappropriately to influence them in their work. They should not act or take decisions in order to gain financial or other material benefits for themselves, their family, or their friends. They must declare and resolve any interests and relationships.
